Western University provides a safe and secure environment for its employees and students through the work of several academic/administrative units and student organizations.
People are the first priority in any situation. As an academic and research intensive institution, Western’s Emergency Management Program must focus on not only on protecting the bricks and mortar that make up our beautiful Campus.
All members of the Western community must focus their efforts on ensuring their area has effective measures in place to deal with situations that may threaten the normal operations. The emergency management programming for Western must be multi-faceted, coordinated and a shared responsibility.
